 | | This card was made for a very special administrator at Harlem Hospital by the name of Millie. She has been an extremely kind and caring person to my sister, the other Savage Twin. Rosalind asked me to make a special card for her. It was made to capture her amazing spirit. The paper I chose was bright and vibrant. I embossed with a sizzix embossing folder that was compatible with the design of the paper. I then sponged the edges with Ranger's Distress Ink. The paper was mounted on two mats. The ric-rac was stamped with "embrace life" from SU. I used versafine black ink. I fed the ric rac through a vintage colored spring clasp that I hung from a brad. I also tied a yellow bow to add some zing. The ribbon bunch remained loose so that it could swing at will. I loved making this fun card. It was hard to let go!
SU Cardstock colors used were Bermuda Bay, Real Red and creamy caramel. The next image shows the inside of the card. |
