Congrats RosiGrld (aka Rosemary) on being chosen this weeks featured stamper. I found this explosion box and thought of the hibiscus card I made last week. The large hibiscus would be perfect to use for the top of the box. I bought this used beach stamp a couple of weeks ago at a scrapbook store yard sale.
The main box is a 8 1/4 inch square, scored at 2 3/4 each side. Then I scored the angles at each corner. The top is a 4 7/8 inch square, score at 1/2 and 1 inch at each side with the L's or photo corners were cut from each corner, Then I cut the adhesive flaps, and double folded the lip of the lid.. I like the double fold, it makes the lid a little sturdier. I used a stylus on the backs of my flowers to give a little dimension. I made a white lid for it too. It makes it look a little softer.
