I used a couple of challenges to construct this birthday card for my BIL - a sketch challenge (which I tweaked) and a Free For All challenge - "Opposites Attract". I selected blue and rust.
The sweater is paper-pieced with with dp and then I stamped an argyle image on it with Versamark and used pencils for shadowing. The shirt and tie were colored with pencils. The edges of the cardstock were then sponged with Antique Linen. The image was layered on rust and navy and then popped up with dimensional foam tape. The sentiment is heat embossed. The tiles are three layers of kraft cardstock glued to each other with dp glued on top. Finally, after the tiles dried, I used clear dimensional glue on top. The picture really only shows the gloss on the left tile but trust me they are all nice and glossy
Thank you so much for looking. I hope you like it and that it helps to inspire you to create a card.
