I am just so excited that I am going to see my family in NY this weekend!! I've missed them a lot!
I'm supposed to be doing things around the house... but I was asked by a friend in NY to make her an Anniversary card for her friend... So, I checked the challenge and went off to work!
I think a lot of you know this already, but Andrea Ewen is one of my most favorite stampers here on SCS! I LOVE how romantic she can make a card look and so I went STRAIGHT to her gallery for some inspiration for this anniversary card!
Andrea, thank you so much for all the inspiration you've given me! Your work is just incredible!
About my card:
I used dp that was given to me by my husbands grandmother and she also gave me a whole spool of this awesome Rose Red seam binding ribbon! The chipboard hearts were also freebies as well as the button! So I have quite a few "freebies" on my card! Oh yea... The doily is also one I found at my mom's house in a box filled with old photos!
We will be hitting the road soon... We have a 13 hour drive to NY... but trust me, it's worth every second!! My daughter Layla asked me when we were leaving for NY and I told her today. She squeezed me so tight and told me I am the best mother! I think she's super psyched to see our family out there!
