For todays F4A66 challenge, we were to use something on our project that had been given to us as a freebie.... the two keys on my card (believe and laughter) were given to me by a friend from Port Alberni, B.C.
I have been looking at these keys every day for months wondering what I could do with them...with todays challenge, I knew I had to use them so I made an anniversary card for a couple that are about love and devotion. They are about a 50 year marriage, about adversity beyond what most of us have never suffered. A beloved 18 year old son was murdered, breast cancer, stomach cancer, survival and each of them wearing a key on a chain around their necks as a reminder that only they have the key to the others heart....sorry about this long story but I had to tell it....
after punching the borders, I added little pearls to the top of them..placed the ribbon in an arch and added 2 sizes of flowers to it... I then made the bow and attached the two keys to the back by sewing them on. pearls in the corners... embossed the sentiment in silver...
thanks for taking a peek.... Hope you like it.....

What a touching story, and what a beautiful card for those special people in your life! All the pearls and flowers and that border punch with pearls and silver paper underneath and ribbon; love it all!
