Congrats to Carly! Wonderful gallery and I picked Let's Hang Out to case. I kept the layout and fence punch across the bottom, but used different images, moved the sentiment and added scoring and a bg stamp on the card front.
All images are Our Daily Bread designs. Carly's cute card is one of those I wish I had thought of first, lol. Since I don't have those images, I used this wonderful porch scene. After coloring it w/ markers, I added the punched fence across the bottom. I discovered a happy coincidence when I cut a navy strip to go behind the fence. My old Fiskar's pinking shears, the big ones you use for sewing, are almost exactly spaced the same as the top of the fence. Cool!
On the 5.5 x 4.25 white card, I scored a horizontal line a little more than half way up then scored vertical lines to resemble bead board paneling. On the top section, I stamped the wood bg w/ the wheat colored chalk ink. I loved the sentiment banner on Carly's card, but it just looked out of place on my card so I moved it down the side.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Very pretty! I love how you scored the bottom portion of the card. It reminds me of beadboard, such a classic country look... And then you add the porch scene... Beautiful! TFS

This is such a lovely, relaxing image and your use of the soft colors is a great choice! Beautiful CASE!

Julie this is wonderful! What a cozy scene - I want to curl up w/ a book in one of those comfy chairs. It all kind of reminds me of a beach front house. Excellent coloring.
