This is one of my favorite ways of "making a scene", using a multi-inked solid background stamp and then adding a few little extras. I thought this one would suit the CAS Summer DT call as well, with the umbrella popped up (although it's hard to see here). I dabbed all the ink cubes onto the solid stamp starting with the white and working outwards to the darker colors. The 3 birds are drawn by hand with a brown marker.

Tilly, your card is absolutely perfect for the challenge. I love your sponging on the solid background stamp. It looks so much like sky, ocean and sand. Your sand and popped up umbrella are really cool too. TFS Into my fav's

I love everything about your scene. It's so realistic looking.
