I made this card for the TSC this week, which was to use red or 'light red' flowers on a birthday card, and for the WT, Fine Tune.
I origionally intended for this card to be for my husband's grandmother who's turning 91 on Tuesday, but although I like it, I think it turned out a little too funky for her.
Thanks for the great challenge ladies, and thanks for looking. I'll be back next week!

Love how you incorporated the brown with the ruby red - soft yet still a warm feel to this card! I bet your grandmother still would have loved this, even tho you think it is too funky!! Flowers and music get grammas every time!

Oooo-wee Darla! I love this sweet lil bird and that fabulous textured bloom. Wonderful embossing and music notes. Lymi!

Wowza Darla. This card is sooo cooool! There is so much texture and interest--didn't know what to look at first. I really like the brick wall embossing. I don't have that one. I may have to go search it out! I love how you stamped the musical notes at an angle. So different. I could go on and on, but the comment would become a novel--you know how I tend to rattle on :-) TFS
