Hi y'all! Here is a card I made for the "Say What?" challenge last Friday on SCS!! This is another card where I did some 'doodling' by piecing together papers and leftovers from other projects. Yes, I save too many scraps of things and the stuff has piled up. So I gotta do lots of doodling!! LOL!! The focal point of my card is this beautiful scripture from one of the new Our Daily Bread designs sets this month called Porch. One thing I did on this card that I have probably only done one other time, is paint the edges of the designer paper with acrylic paint. Also behind the seam binding bow is lace that I stitched along the edge and pulled to make the circle.
Here are the supplies I used:
ODBD Porch stamp set
Neenah White and Cream card stock
Webster's Pages designer paper
Lace and seam binding and Bow Easy
Stazon Black ink
Vintage White Folk Art acrylic paint
Martha Stewart butterflies
Zva pearls
Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Square
Exclusive ODBD Elegant Ovals by Spellbinders
Spellbinders Grand Calibur

Really love the paint on the edges Sandee! How clever to use up scraps... especially the lace pulled into a rosette! The entire thing is so soft and sweet! Beautiful!

BEAUTIFUL!! Made me feel happy looking at your card. Just at the right time. I am missing my only son who lives one state away from me. Sometimes I just miss him for no reason.
