I loved the Side Step card featured on SCS a few weeks ago. It is surprisingly easy! The measurements are important, but otherwise it is not hard at all. (Thanks, Beate.)
Cut from 1"-6 1/2" at the 2 1/2" mark.
Score the 3" side at 1", 2", 3 1/4", 41/2" and 6".
Accordion fold to make the steps.
I kept the embellishments pretty simple (I was working in a hotel room). The panel is stamped with the small flower in Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink and Crumb Cake, and then sponged with those colors. Crumb Cake strips are punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch, and then stamped in Regal Rose ink. I used the Blushing Bride and Pear Pizazz Markers to ink up the hydrangea, and trimmed it up with the fabulous Paper Snips. The finishing touch was 3 of those teeny tiny pearls. I dropped one, and didn't even bother looking for it on that plush resort carpet. Luckily, they're cheap!
Hope you like my card, and I'd encourage you to give this fold a whirl.

Simple or not it is a lovely card!! Great idea to use the boarder punch on the steps. . . Mahalo for sharing!! Always nice to see a new "twist" on the cards (to me anyway!)
