I used a Sizzix long die to cut the "pinafore" that lays on top of the card base. The leaves/stems and pink butterflies were stamped and colored prior to running the pinafore thru the SU embossing texture folder. The pink flowers and blue butterfly were stamped on a scrap piece of white cardstock, colored with pencils, and attached to the embossed pinafore using glue dots. SU ribbon border punch was used for the bottom strip of pink paper. A small pretty in pink taffeta ribbon bow was added to the top of the card, which I think makes a nice finishing touch to this card.
This design would be perfect for birthdays as well as baptisms, depending on the type of paper you use for the pinafore.

WOW -- this is stunning -- I love the softness of the colours and also the little snip you have taken out the bottom -- I can see me having to case this one. tfs
