This is for the color challenge. Now all I have to do is find a graduate I know that has these school colors! lol
I stamped the sentiment onto a textured ivory cardstock then cut/embossed with Spellbinders Labels Seven. I formed it up a bit to curve it more like a book, scoring the center. The tassel is stamped using black craft ink and clear embossed before being cut out and popped up. The card front is scored 1/4" from each side and stamped with the cap and the tassel is colored with a Copic marker.
This is a sneak peek of a new set being released next week by Mark's Finest Papers.

When I first saw that labels die, it so reminded me of an open book. And I love the way you took that and went a little further and curved it. Awesome card!

I know what you mean about making cards to match the graduate's school colors. I hope you will be able to find one since your card is so nice! I especially like all those score lines you put on the card. Great job! A+

What a fabulous graduation card, Karen. I like the DP you created as a bg. That tassel looks like the real deal!! I had to read your description to see that it was stamped. Great card with today's colors.

So clever to make the perfect sized book for your sentiment and I like the mortarboards in the bg with their red tassels too! Great CAS graduation card.
