The first time I saw this funky fold was during the challenges for MD Anderson Hospital. Mrs. Boz made a most hopeful card for that challenge. Then I saw it again in a swap from Mary K Jones and her card was so darling, I just HAD to CASE it--I only changed a couple of things. The measurements and directions were introduced to me by Cheryl Walker. You can find instructions here: http://sweeetdesignsbycheryl.blogspo...old-video.html
Thank you, ladies.
The one thing that was different on Mary K Jones' card, which I used here, is that the middle piece is folded so it opens like a card and a little message can be put there.
Crystal effects was used to make items look like glass. I think my classes will love this little detail. I used some very old cardstock that used to be clouds in many different colors--I think it was supposed to be marbled paper. It worked well on this card.
Thanks for looking.

Beautiful sample. Love the CE look on the goggles and compass. Great idea. It's those simple things that really make a card like this stand out. Your link to the directions didn't work. Any chance you could post it again?
