So many wonderful challenges, so little time! I combined challenges for a scene that played out more than once in my life...
Stamped the image from SU Little Boys on Flourishes white CS and colored with Copics. Cut and embossed with a rectangle Nestie then sponged with Bashful Blue and Marina mist while in the die. Put Glossy Accents over the jar. When dry matted with Night of Navy and a Bazzill Textured Nestie. Stamped Flourishes Clouds on more Bazzill CS and embossed PTI kraft CS with the Tim Holtz Cattails EF. Mounted all to a Vanilla card and added the Jesse James buttons. The dog is more orange than red IRL but couldn't find a way to get that color true. PT - 2.
Thanks so much for looking. If you have sons, enjoy this wonderful season with them. Have a peaceful day.

Adorable stamp! I haven't seen this one before! You colored it beautifully. I love the soft blue and light brown shades. The star buttons pull the whole card together perfectly! Thank you for sharing!

Marzi, what a wonderful image. I love your coloring and the ef is perfect. Those stars are the best b/c our boys are stars in our eyes. I only have 1, and he's a star.
Kittie used this set too and I had to go to ebay to look for it. What fab images are in this set.

Marie, this is wonderful and sweet - what a super image and I adore the buttons. I have girls but one of them did love frogs when she was little and love to chase them. We have a pile of them with our pond in the back - some nights you can't even walk across the yard without the whole yard coming alive with frogs. TFS!

I have two sons no girls so I can relate to this scene!!! Frogs, worms, snakes, grasshoppers, lightning bugs, fish, snails, and puppy dog tails....not in that order of coursed!!! lol This is just darling. I love this. How fun and fabulous. And yes I do enjoy my boys. My 18yr old is going to Prom Saturday and graduating from HS in less than 3 weeks.

awe I love this scene...I do have a son, and him and I are very close.. but hes not that little any more, hes 16 now and in grade 11, and I already am starting to feel sad a bit because I know it will be hard when he leaves home...I just cannot imagine the moms who lose a son in the army. just cant, but anyways just had to say i liked your nice comment about enjoying time with your boys, cause they do grow up so fast, and on the other hand I love your card too, sweet picture and lovely coloring, like your start buttons too...great little guy card...TFS...:0)
