Visit my blog for a tutorial on how to make this card! :o)
Wendy, what an awesome challenge!!
I think I am kinda the "layering" type! My cards are usually FILLED with layers. However, when put to the task TO LAYER, for some reason it was difficult for me!
When I first started making this card... I hated it! But, even though it looks like pink and white threw up all over it, I do think it is a beautiful card!
This morning while getting my daughter, Layla ready for school, I put the Royal Wedding on. I told her, "Layla, that's a real princess (I know she's going to be called Duchess) and she's getting married!" I will NOT forget her face... She COMPLETELY LIT UP!! For a moment, she was speechless. (If you knew my daughter, you;d know that's a rarity.) Then on the news they said, that William and Kate were going to have there first kiss. Layla said, "MOM, YOU HAVE TO RECORD IT FOR ME cause I have to go to school!!" lol Too cute!!! She was really excited and told me at school, in the morning, her teacher asks if anyone knows of any special events going on that day. Layla said, "Mom, I'm going to tell her that a VERY SPECIAL event is happening and that Prince William is marrying a Princess Kate, today!"
Too much fun! I really hope she remembers today! Both Kate and William looked truly happy and in love!
So here is my 8 layer card inspired by the Royal Wedding! Thanks again Wendy! i did have fun creating this card!
Hope you all have a wonderful Friday filled with lots of love!

Grin, I should certainly think layers would be easy for you. But it's funny how when you HAVE to do something, it automatically becomes harder. What a pretty-in-pink confection you've created here - and I hope Layla enjoys watching the balcony scenes when she sees them later - or was their first kiss still in the Abbey?
