This is my first round card ever! I've always loved them but never known how to put them together. Bless Julee Tilman's heart, she posted some directions here: http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2...urst-mojo.html. Rather than scoring across three scallops, it worked better for me to balance the card on two scallops at the bottom and then score across FOUR scallops at the top. As you can see, I balanced the card on only one scallop at the bottom on my first attempt and had to trim it off straight so it would stand. ;-)
This card follows the Mojo Monday sketch challenge 188. For the peach panel with the scallops on the right side, I cut a long strip of peach, adhered a band of Choc Chip Taffeta Ribbon around it, scalloped a long strip of Choc Chip paper, adhered them together, adhered them to the music designer paper, then reinserted them into the circle die and ran it through again to make a perfect circular cut. After that, I tied a tiny bow with the Bow-Easy and attached it over the band with Scor-Tape.
This was the first time I used SU!'s Beautiful Wings Embosslits too. They're adorable and easy to use!
Phew! That's all.
ETA: No, not all. ;-) This works for the Dirty Dozen Fan Club central theme this month ("Oh So Shapely," to use die cuts and punches to build a card). I used scalloped circle and circle dies and a scalloped border punch on this card. Now I'm really done!
