Kim challenged us to use ovals on our cards today. I should've made an Easter card, but I was SO happy to see sunshine I had to do a big flower. I even got to photo outside!! I used Pretty Petals by Kitchen Sink Stamps & made a b/g, then punched out petals. I curled them w/ a marker. The leaves are crimped & marked w/ the wide ball stylus for some veins. The flower is on a thick popdot.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Pam124 says this also qualifies for the DD use punches challenge. I think I've got that one covered!

Hey, we got to see the sunshine today, too, Karen! Doesn't it just do wonders for lifting your spirits? I see it got your creativity going, too, with your pretty oval-inspired flower. I agree with Irene that you should win the prize for the most ovals. :-)

I knew you were going to punch count that one to death Karen. All those awesome ovals and textured leaves. You did a terrific job! Hey, don't forget to use the keyword CT0411 if you want your card to be part of the DD challenge this month - it's to use punches, diecuts, shapes - hello, are they talking to us or not!!!!
