This is a card I did for the Technique Lover's Challege - Same but Different TLC321. The challenge was to use leftovers from a card to make another totally different looking card. It was ok to change the sentiment, but no new product was to be used. This is much more difficult to accomplish than you might expect!
This card was the card I made with the leftovers from another egg border card. The rules for the challenge were that we couldn't use different cs than was used on the original card. I had only used off-white cs on the original card and wanted a blue cardbase, so to achieve the look I sponged, heavily, the edges of the off-white card front. Then I added the smaller off-white panel on top for contrast.
The Friendship panel was hand cut to fit the space, the Nature Walk egg border was die cut & embossed using a Nestie long rectangle. I used a stamp positioner to stamp the floral icon images after the other panels were put in place. And as you can see, I love pearls, lots and lots of pearls!
