Hello everyone! I had to make a "get well" card for a friend that had surgery recently. She will be away from her job for several weeks and is currently dealing with a lot of pain. I will be sending her this card tomorrow with a little note of promise that she will get better as time goes on.
I tried Beate's latest tutorial called "Bleached out Image" and I love it.
I dyed the seam binding with tea colored ink to give it an aged appearance. The center of the flower has a dot of glitter glue. The buttons are brown but for some reason shows up as burgundy. The bg panel was dry embossed and sanded. Since the white core of the paper was too light, I sponged it with the same tea colored ink to tone it down. One last thing, I glued the image onto a very thick cardstock. I knew I would be popping it up and I wanted it to be like a disc.
Well, that's about it. Have a great evening.
TFL!
