Easter Pop-top Cans_lb

I am making these pop-top cans for all the people (12) in my office for Easter. They contain jelly beans. The cute little chickie is from Michaels' $1 bin, and I used various SU retired DP to cover the cans.

PS - I ate a lot of canned fruit! (at least it was healthy)

These are darling but I am curious as to how you opened them since the top appears to be in tact. Did you open them from the bottom to remove the fruit? Just adorable...thanks for sharing!

these are adorable Lois, I have yet to make one of these , I found a can a while ago and cleaned it out , just haven't gotten back to it. I looked for more cans with pop lids and haven't seen any. Do they still sell packs of 4 with fruit? I need to keep checking around at the different stores, they look like so much fun to make, give and get, TFS

ok I love these they are so cute! I have one question though, if you cut the bottom out how do you keep the jellybeans in them lol. I'm sure it's simple but have not made these before. thanks :)
