My granddaughter is one year old today and this is how I picture her in another year and what her momma looked like at this age. I just had to use it for her second 1st birthday card, she got a card in the mail and this goes on the package.
You can now find the image in both digital and rubber (I found it at Archivers). Mo Manning has some very cute images.
The image is colored with using Copics for the hair and skin and Prismacolor pencils for the remainder of the image and the very light blue shading around the image is done with a blender pen and chalks, sorry it doesnÂ’t show very well in the photo.
After punching the Martha Stewart border I embossed a straight line across with the Scor Pal.
To give the flowers a raised 3D appearance embossing was done using a metal ball stylus and a folded paper towel for cushion. The smallest flower center is from a Fiskars border punch, I insert a narrow strip of cardstock under the flower when I want just a few but I often save these when punching the border. Alll other punches are by EK Success. They are all glued together with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue. I use a piercer for the brad hole.
Those tiny ladybugs on the image panel are the hearts from the border punch turned upside down. The dots are punched with the same border punch and with a stick pin I touch the tip to glue then to the black punched dot to pick it up, place it on the heart and hold it down with the finger as I pull away then slide into place if it isn’t already. The head and body are 1/16” and 1/8” punched circles attached to the heart shape using that stick pin and then glued to the card. The trail is a rubber image that I don’t have a name for. It may look like a lot of work but I use that stick pin so often that I can have a lady done in about a minute once the pieces are punched.
Those are real stitches on the card
The envelope is paper taped together, faux stitched then glued to the card. Since this card goes on the package I added a die cut lady big to the envelope.
