This is for CC318 to use Pear Pizzaz, Pretty in Pink and So Saffron, I got home from work early today due t shorter meetings and I had the chance to play in the challenge earlier than usual. I love the color combination and they are so perfect for spring. I think this little Kittie's Bow cat and girl image by Gillian Roberts is adorable and so perfect to be set in a spring garden of flowers. I love the look on the cat's face getting her bow tied. None of my cats would sit still to allow a bow to be tied around their neck.
I stamped the image, watercolored with reinkers and cut out. I punched greenery using crimped green paper and stamped it with my mini fern stamp. The crimping provides a little extra life to the punched foliage. The flowers were punched from embossed cardstock. I mounted the image and frame and applied greenery and flowers around the image using Matte Accent. I wanted to use this yellow gingham paper in the background and thought the white eyelet frame would perfectly enhance the garden setting.
