This vase was originally a jar full of prima's. (different than the ones used here)
I got out my decopauge glue and some decopauge strips with butterflies on them. Instead of lining them up straight, I put them on an angle so they were diamond shape as opposed to square.
I thought the celery ribbon was a great compliment to the colors I had in the butterfly paper, but I made a mistake and didn't do anythign with the top, there were just triangle pieces that looked wierd, so I covered them with prima's. I added a flower brad to the middle.
I added a dark pink ribbon around the middle so the back would have some interest, and added a rich dark pink/burgandy flower with another flower over it adding another flower brad to the center.
Thanks for looking.
PS. This is the first time I've tried anything like this. I can't wait to have a flower or two to put in my new vase!
