I am so happy to play in today's color challenge! :o)
Peggy, these colors are GREAT!! But I have to admit... I went for the DESSERT first!! =o)
Normally I think and think and THINK of what kind of card I can make using the colors of the color challenge. But today, when I saw Punch Bowl as the dessert, I ran with THAT idea first! I have many punches and I am always trying to figure out HOW to incorporate them into my cards. Punches aren't cheap, so I like to use them so I don't feel guilty for purchasing them! :o)
I had seen a card very similar to this one at a store in NY. I LOVED it! I thought it was just tooo stinkin' CUTE! Sooo... I went for it! Sorry, I can't remembered the name of the card company. :o/
This card used the following punches/dies:
*Owl Punch: Eyes, feet, antennae
*Naturally Serif Alphabet for the body and mouth (U) of the "caterpillar"
*Circle punch for head and bottom (I then cut them to give a little so they would look like perfect circles)
Now I am off to go hang with my sick little Layla girl and Brooklyn, too on the couch and watch some cartoons!
Hope you like my punch art card!
My little blog:
My card size is 9.5 x 4.25 (A business letter size envelope!)

You are FABULOUS! I love how you came up with this ... I often see a card somewhere and when I get home, I've totally forgotten what it looked like :) But you're a lot younger than me ... and smarter too ~ hee hee. I LOVE YOUR CATERPILLAR CARD. Straight into my faves!
