I reckon me and Bertie will be coming in the back door of the tea party today. I entrusted Bertie to make a guitar-themed card for Tom (see Teapot Tuesday challenge destination) and, well, as you can see, she obviously was confused and brought a stand-up bass instead. Hopefully, though, Tom won't mind after he sees this rockin' cool singing group of Ethel's. They are singing:
Love, love him, do
Tom, we love you!
We know you are cool
So, please, love Tom do!
See those white brads on my black punched stars? They are faux brads. Yep. I got the idea from my friend Nancy Littrell who made her own faux brads on this beautiful card from the punched out circles of the large prong on the Cropadile and then covered them with Crystal Effects, so I had to try it. They came out really cool! Smart Nancy!
Rubbernecker is releasing new stamps today! You can get all the details on My Blog

Tom likes music of any kind! I can just see him looking at your group and saying in his sweet little voice, "I like this." Thank you Charlene for taking time to make a card for Tom.

Charlene this is just precious!! You know they would probably look similar to this if they were a group today. Nobody escapes aging.... Love your faux brads!!

OMG Charlene, did you hear my chuckle? Ethel really rocks! Your faux brads turned out great. I think I 1st saw this idea from Rox71. It is great if you do not have the color of brad you really need. TFS

Oh my, didn't those new RN stamps fit so well. One of DH's guitars has f-holes like that bass, so let's just call it a guitar on steroids for the challenge, LOL. Those faux brads do look cool, too.

I think Bertie needs a music education, this looks like a barbershop quartet. I do think they can sing though, they look like they are having a cool time.
