How much fun is having Harriet be crowned Queen?!? Anyone who knows CAS has so much love and respect for Harriet and her beautiful clean style. She says and does so much with her cards with so little, leaving me always to say "Why didn't I think of that?" Her genuine love and enthusiasm for card making shine in her gallery and in her comments. Although I have several of her cards in my favorites, I chose to CASE one that was shockingly without comment: Happy Birthday by hskelly at Splitcoaststampers
It was so fun and easy to make this card that I truly feel like I was cheating. I cut a piece of Webster's Pages petite to fit the top half of a The Paper Company Blond Columns card. Fitted a piece of ribbed ribbon (?). Stamped the rubbernecker sentiment on Blush Blossom CS in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with a nestie label. Mounted all, add a recollections paper rose and done. Oops - not! Saw the thumbnail and moved the flower. Now done.
Thank you so much for all of your inspiration, Harriet. Enjoy your reign as Queen. thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.
