I made this card for this week's featured stamper, Irene( DandI93)...although late. Irene's work is amazing...I have a bunch of her cards in my favorites!! It took me a while because I knew which card I wanted to case, but making it was difficult. It is this one: FS199 Heartfelt Sympathy by DandI93 at Splitcoaststampers
I know others cased this card, but friends of ours had lost their 20 year old daughter on Sunday...so I knew I wanted to make a card, but it was tough getting to it. The wake is tonight, so I had to get it done. Thank you, Irene for your inspiration!!
I used the same flowers , had the same sentiment, but it was too big, so changed that. I tried sponging, but couldn't get it to look very good, so I opted to emboss and make a frame out of nesties. Popped up the frame and done.
Congratulations, Irene...your gallery is filled with wonderful works of art...enjoy your week of honor...you rock!!!
