Have incorporated 3 challenges - color challenge, inspiration challenge (based from OuterBanks Trading Group website - link artist gallery to Ellen McCaleb work), and the technique lovers challenge.
1. Waterwashed with blue lagoon fluid chalk, brilliant blue diluted re inker, lime pastel and one section with Rangers distress tea dye. Tore 3 strips , glued to cs, then stamped fish image, used scattered straw Stickles on body of fish. Pressed on smooth upper and lower surfaces thru Big Kick. The applied one thick coat of UTEE, melted middle primarily fish, and lightly melted upper and lower strip to give impression of water drops.
2. lower portion of card is water washed with blue lagoon, lime pastel chalk and brilliant blue re-inker, then stamped with fish, do not use UTEE on this layer.
Used fish hook and tie for inside corner of card .

very cool, it is funny how it is always so hard for us to do mancards....for me its hard too just like at christmas shopping for them it is always harder...lol...but you did an awesome job here your mom will lvoe it for giving it away,,,way to help her...TFS...:0)
