This is the first week of Grungy Monday, a weekly challenge hosted by Linda Ledbetter of Studio L3, to make art inspired by Tim Holtz. The tag chosen for this week's inspiration was one of my all-time favorites. I was planning to do a bird-themed tag, but as you can see things took an unexpected turn... I saw the dress form stamp, and well, here's what happened. I stamped and embossed the dress form and thread card on grungeboard and decorated the dress form with some bits of ribbon and flowers cluttering up my workspace. I wound pink and white bakers twine around the thread card. The colors washed out a bit, but they are lovely in person. I had some leftover measuring tape twine from another project, which I frayed at the edges and layered with some decorative papers. The tag is finished off with lace and more twine.

Oh, it's fabulous, Sarah! I love that you went with the seamstress theme, and you used all these elements and Tim's techniques perfectly! The masking looks incredible, and the colors are lovely. The little rosette on the dress form is a great touch!
Thank you so much for helping launch Grungy Monday!!!
