Sorry for those that might not want to see this. This is the companion page to my Thrill of the Hunt page from my son's first deer hunting win. Gpa let him keep the hide and he and my husband "tanned" it themselves. I don't recommend googling that process...The digi kit is Summer Driggs Courage again and the sketch is Cheryl's EMS 26.

Okay, I'm gonna take your word for it about not googling the process, especially after seeing that sharp little tool on the right. Eek! Cool layout. The close-up pictures are a great contrast to the one of the tanning hide, and I love the mix of yellow and brown. TFS.

Beautiful job--I like both pages. The photo of the hide in the center really looks good and I love how you did close-ups of the tools. Your son will be so glad to have these pages over the years. They document a significant moment in his life. That's what our scrapping is all about!

I take it he really used the home made tools.......how cool is that. I like how your strip with the button and the title looks like it is stitched. Wonderful page.
