Wonderful challenge, Joan! This started out to be just a regular card until I checked out the challenge and thought trimming around the embossed edge might look interesting.
The verse was stamped w/ peony pigment ink (from the Enchantment PP) and die cut w/ a Spellbinder's oval. The merlot layer was cut w/ an exclusive ODBD die made by Spellbinders, called ODBD Labels One. I traced around the same die onto the moss and hand cut it.
The white panel was done w/ a Cuttlebug ef, hand trimmed around the right side then attached to the moss c/s and trimmed again. I cut the white card front in a semi circle so it doesn't show. The inside edge of the card was sponged thru a little stencil using the peony ink.
The rose was made using a lg pansy punch. I punched a bunch of them, sponged on the color, cut them apart and attached them individually to a paper circle in layers. The center was made w/ the scalloped circle die and I cut it in a ring and rolled it. I cut leaf shapes using a mini pinking shears scissors and added the scoring w/ a stylus. Both are lightly spritzed w/ a shimmer spray. The finished card measures 4.25 x 5.5.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Your card is breath-taking! Love how you did the flourish embossing and then cut intricately around it. Lovely rose in a soft pink. The whole composition and execution are fantastic!
