OK, you know you're getting old when you have to have reading glasses on to make a card! When I uploaded the picture I noticed that I put the newsprint bg on upside down! Rest assured, I will correct that before I use the card, but I didn't want to fiddle with another picture!
I've seen a lot of cards lately using sprigs of blossoms along the side of image panels and when I saw the pretty vase of flowers in my new hostess set A Slice of Life I decided to give it a whirl. The flowers remind me of cherry blossoms in DC.

so pretty . I love black and pink together. It does remind me of cherry blossoms too. I live in the Okanagan valley in B.C. and that is one of my favorite times in spring when all the orchards are in bloom, it is soooo amazingly beautiful. So your cute sentiment fits in so well...lovely....oh yah wanted to say you left a comment on my card today and was saying about how the little hedgehog picture reminds you when you used to make the little mice in the walnut shell, just wanted to say I never thought of that till you mentioned it and yes we used to make them too was so cute and fun, I totally forgot...must be the age thing...lol thanks for the lovely comment and have a super day..:0)
------------------------------ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
Your card is beautiful, I wouldn't change a thing. See if the person you send it to even noticed the bg was upside down? I bet not, because the rest is very pretty!!

This is soooooo pretty! Love your soft colors, pretty blossoms, and the lace! Shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but when I'm doing really intricate coloring or cutting, I put on my husbands reading glasses (stronger than my own) because it's nearly like wearing a magnifying glass!!!

Too funny...haven't most of us done something like that! If you hadn't mentioned it...I would have never have known. Love your card. Has a peaceful serenity about it...a great CAS card.

With six young blessings you are lucky to still have a mind to realize that the paper was backwards This is such a creative use of this set, it looks just delightful, and yes, evocative of DC at it's most beautiful. TFS
