I decided to get a jump start on Valentine's Day and found this cute idea for a card for my DH while flipping through the latest issue of On Stage. I changed the background and ribbon a bit to make it more masculine. Thanks for the inspiration Emily G!

this made up really quick and really cute and quite acceptably masculine (i have three guys in my family). i found a cool substitute for the hodgepodge hardware (perish the thought i would actually use the stuff i paid good money for!). what i do is make two small slits in a small strip of c/s using a non-SU rectangle punch (handheld), center the slits, and punch out with a 3/4" circle punch. then feed the ribbon through the slits. tape the ends of the ribbon on the back of the card. probably not original, but i have used it several times with very cute results. love your card - i had the craft spots earth but not bold brights, so used ruby red. adorable!! TFS!
