The theme for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge ODBDSLC53 is "New Life" since it is the first day of spring during this week in the USA, we want to see creations symbolizing New Life...this can be Easter, or flowers.....etc.
I love this new stamp set, He Will Rise, and ODBD's Exclusive Spellbinder, Labels 1- This shape is so unique and so vintage lovely! I am kinda addicted to easels and have not done one in some time, but I wanted my “Spring Garden” to have some depth. The main image and Scripture were stamped on suede and the blooms added. I smiled after putting this together, thinking that the Scripture looked like the stone that was rolled away.
Hope you join us this week, ODBD's Design Blog on Saturday, March 19. Please use the keyword ODBDSLC53 so we can enjoy your creations too! Thanks for looking!

There is always soooo much to love in your cards, dear lady Pat!! Your heart is spilled over in each of them (and also your delightful sense of humor in others). I am soooo hoarding my lace, but love yours so beautifully peeking out from under yet another amazing floral. I keep thinking about easels and NOT getting them done!! There is so much inspiration here, but for now, I'm heading back to bed. I got up so DH could get a little more sleep before milking time without me bouncing around in the bed!!!

This is beautiful Pat! I love your take on an easel card. The way you have it set up, reminds me of the rock being rolled away at the tomb! The details are amazing... the lace and roses... just yummy! Have a great weekend sister!

Kinda addicted to easels... now that is an understatement. LOL I giggled at that. Your easel cards are fabulous and this is no exception Pat. I adore how gorgeous this is with the flowers. And CLEVER you having the stone roll away look. I actually thought hey that looks like a rugged stone shape sorta. Really I DID.... This is why you are DD my friend. Beautiful and heartfelt all around.
