boy I cheeted somethin aweful on this TSC. I found a pattern in my MIL stash some months ago and fell in love with it. The envelope was pretty worn so decided to scan it because I just loved the vintagy feel of it. So I used the scan on my card. Added a sewing machine rub-on from Big Lots, some brads and a scrap piece of jumbo rick-rack. Drew in some faux stitching around sentiment and card border. Then went on to another card project and SOMEHOW managed to snip off the top corner of my challenge card. Oh what to do what to do? Running low on time, I had to go down the cheetah path. I created a tab that covered the boo boo and gave it a name. So there ya have it. It was my pleasure to give this week's TSC.

Lol... Chee-tah, Cheetah! How fun is this! Tater, I love it- and really, there is no such thang as cheatin' on Da Bus. Love these vintage images and your faux stitching. Love that lil tab. Funny how "mistakes" sometimes turn out to be the very best thing! Sew, ya done good Sista! Hugs.....

Wow! You're a tough act to follow, Sistah!! You may be cheatin' just a leetle, but you sure are clever! Great thinking to scan that pattern package!! Adding that sewing machine on top is genius along with the stitching around the edges. Awesome card! I will go make an attempt to make mine now!!!

I think this is awesome. I too love those vintagy looking ladies. I saw a stamp at my LSS that had ladies like this and almost bought it. ( I was trying not to spend my inheritance in there). I like your faux stitching. We would never have known you had a boo boo if you hadn't told us. The tab looks good.

Vintage and sweet, Where did you cheat? I see sewing items all over the place. Reminds me of the family photos that we look through at grandma's house. :0)

Love this cute sewing card and all the details you added. You saying you are a "cheetah" after giving the girls a hard time about their light red or is it pink cards? Your too funny, friend.
