This was the first card I did that may have been for the MMTPT137 challenge. I did another that got posted and sent for that challenge, per DH saying that that was the better one. I like both of them.
The flowers are glued to the bg yellow piece, then run through the Cuttlebug in an ef. I didn't completely glue down the petals, so some of them could be pulled up after embossing. It gives the flowers a very nice effect. The leaf is silk, and they don't hold the emboss as well as the paper does, but it still works fairly well.
The vase is done by folding a scrap piece of c/s in half, then cut in the shape you want. easy peasy. This too is adhered before embossing, so it too is embossed.
The yellow panel was die cut prior to embossing, then fit into the pre cut frame after wards.
The buttons are threaded and adhered with glue dots. To make these permanent or more permanent, heat the glue dot with your heat gun for a few seconds. They'll ooze around a bit, but they are more permanent done this way.
This is an easy technique with a great outcome! I like it when there are petals left to be raised for the added dimension!

I think I like this one even better than the blue one. I need to do more with my CB, especially since I got the set of four different flowers at Joann's this morning at $48 originally marked at $80. Didn't even use my 50%coupon. But I do already have one of the sets, so I will have to find someone who doesn't and see if they want it.
