I used the Faux Wood frame tutorial from Resources to create my frame on this card. I've made better faux wood before, but this is as good as it gets today.
A2 base, covered with old sheet music. The music was sponged with some Antique Linen and Walnut Stain inks, and edged with a black marker. The frame is popped up on foam over an old book page covered with gesso - I got arty for this one . The violin and dragonfly are from the Symphony wheel, stamped with StazOn Timber Brown on watercolour paper. After colouring the violin with distress inks I embossed it with two layers of UTEE. The dragonfly has Stickles on its wings. Sentiment from Music Expressions stamped on more of the gessoed paper and cut with Fancy Tags, then I sponged around the edges with Walnut Stain, and added a couple of pearls. It still seemed to be lacking something, so I stuck a Cuttlebug Vintage Corner in dark blue, a couple of leaves and a paper rose in the top corner.

Sabrina, love your faux wood frame. Those tiny faux screws are an added plus. Love the vintage feel to your wonderful card. Well done. TFS :0)

Stunning!!! This is a fantastic piece of art - I love everything about it, but your faux wood frame puts it over the top. The way you added the extra touches in the corner gives a perfect finishing touch to this masterpiece.
