I decided to use today's colors and make a card for my Dad. He's very lonely, as my Mom passed away almost 2 yrs. ago and he lives 85 miles from my 2 sisters and 235 miles from me. I'm going to make a point to send him cards on a weekly basis and hope he'll enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them. I used Papertrey sets for the whole card. The argyle BG was stamped with soft suede and baja breeze, on white, the chair on crumbcake and the sentiment, cat and rug on baja breeze. I cut out the chair with a swivel knife and set it on the rug.

This is wonderful! I need to do something like this for my grandfather who also lost his wife about 1.5 years ago and is so lonely now! Love how you personalized this with the "Dad." TFS!

Sue, what a thoughtful thing to do for your Dad - your card touches me, not because my Dad lives on his own, but because he lives on the other side of the world from me and I do a lot of thinking about him! I just love this, it's masculine, yet pretty at the same time, which is hard to do! The argyle bg is perfect.
