So, I know the challenge was to make a lattice, but I immediately got a picture of a fan trellis with ivy and I just couldn't shake it! So, I inked up my distressed texturz plate with some sahara sand ink (but I think it must have still had a darker brown from the last time I played with it...shame on me for not immediately cleaning my tools!) to get the wood grain on my white cs which I then cut into strips and shaped into the trellis. I'm still tuckered out from a busy weekend and I loved the colors from last week's color challenge, so I decided to go with those! The vines are cut using the Little Leaves die and I dyed some paper flowers. I reached for the Bashful Blue ink, but grabbed the Turquoise by mistake. I colored the pearls with Concord Crush and colored a dot behind them too. I added a ribbon and sentiment and layered my trellis over a piece of Concord Crush dp backed with cs and I was done!
