I wish I was - this cough I've had for the last few months has made it nearly impossible to play the flute; I wish it would clear up.
I wanted to make a card I was happier with for the IC today. I stuck with my Vintage Bugle inspiration and made a more feminine card.
A2 base. Base layer is white card stamped with Impression Obsession music in StazOn Timber Brown. I sponged it with walnut stain and peeled paint distress inks and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist. Then I sponged round the edges again with more green, and the very edges with brown.
Image panel is part of Symphony inked up with StazOn Timber Brown, stamped on watercolour paper and embossed with clear EP. It's coloured with H2Os, sponged with Antique Linen and Peeled Paint.
I cut some Sizzix Vines from white card, sponged with Peeled Paint and embossed with clear EP. After laying them on the card I positioned the panel and attached it with two copper brads. Tattered Florals flowers cut from old sheet music and sponged, with punched stamen centres, and a QuicKutz owl cut from scraps of Bazzill finish it off.

As I have said beforeI am always so impressed with all the techniques you use and the time you take to explain your steps.
Beautiful bugle. Hope you feel much better real soon.
