I made this ATC sized butterfly for my ATC Technique Album. The TLC today was to make an odd-sized/shaped card and use odd items on it. Odd size. Check. Odd shape. Check. Odd items. (wire) Check. Odd paper. Check. That's definitely odd.
The paper I used is from my husband's marbled paper stash. It is an ancient craft and I have tried my hand at it, but I'm not very good. It is an art for the patient perfectionist.
Here is a video on the art of the marbled paper:
Now if I could only get DH to do his marbling in SU colors, so they would match my cardstock!

That's beautiful! The purist in me wonders how it works as an ATC when about the only specific there is the size, but I just love it. I used to work for a company that sold marbling kits, but I never actually tried it. I love the look - makes me think of end-papers in old books.
