I'm making some cards for my DB and SIL. This is a
'thinking of you' card. I made one similar a long time ago and thought I'd try it again.
I sponged the blocks using a square nestie that I masked off. I then stamped the "Echoes of Kindness" stamp with Stzon Jet Black. I added the ribbon, sponged a line on the egde of the inside and then used the SU! border punch. I added a half pearl at the center of the knot.
What do you think?

Leslie this is so creative. I love how you sponged the blocks and stamped over with that pretty floral stamp. This is such a "postage" friendly card and so very pretty.

I really like this technique of sponging the squares from the nestie. Very pretty card with beautiful colors.

I love the clean look of this...your sponging is so clean, that I genuinely believed the inside to be matching paper. Wonderful ideas, wonderfully executed.

This is stunning. I love how you did the squares. Did you ink up the nestie and then just use it like a stamp? I love how you did this. I'm sure your DB and SIL loved it. Very elegant.
