I felt honored and excited when Stephanie invited me to make a sample card for this week's Inspiration Challenge. Fun Flowers by corysnana1 at Splitcoaststampers My perfectionism kicked in and by Thursday night, I had several discarded ideas on my desk. There were multiple variations on my original fabric inspired cards. The background paper for this card was one of my rejects. I liked it, but couldn't see a fully formulated card, so I opted for my original because of the bright colors and bold images. Plus, I am in MN and tired of the winter and wanted a card that was bright and cheery! Anyway, I was back in my stamp room this morning, cleaning and working on creating cards with scraps and already stamped images. This is the result of my efforts! It's simple, the background is a major feature, and everything else compliments the card. Well, I got everything done and picked up my card to round the bottom corners and guess what?!?! As I was fiddling around earlier in the week, I had stamped something else on the back of the card!! So, I cut it off and found that mounting the card on Early Espresso made the card go from cute to Wow! Don't you love when accidents like that happen?!?
