Trees Birthday Wishes Card

Photo Details

I started to make this card at the February Stamper's Ten Make and Take evening at my demo's house. I messed up though and had to finish it off at home so I've deviated from the original design. My demo inked the Funky Forest wheel with VersaMark ink, stamped on a piece of Blueberry Crisp paper, heat embossed with clear EP and then brayered Not Quite Navy ink on the paper. I messed up my embossing on the night and I've since tried three times at home and I didn't get results I was happy with so I gave up! I just stamped the trees on a plainish piece of Blueberry Crisp paper with Not Quite Navy ink.

My demo used the Sanded bg stamp on the Sahara Sand panel but I don't have that and I'd just received the Antique Cracking stamp from eBay so I used that. A friend has kindly lent me her Frames with a Flourish set so I used that for the sentiment.

I stamped inside the card too. Please visit this blog post if you would like to take a look.

It may not have been the card you had in mind but I love it!
