Today is the time we are celebrating a new Queen, Kim aka Luv Flowers. What a yummy gallery she has. I found several cards I loved but I kept going back to this beautiful CAS card. CAS90, Quick... by Luv Flowers at Splitcoaststampers
I have really been into CAS cards, and enjoyed making a few recently.
I have something very nice to tell about Kim. She pm'd me once and gave me a compliment about something. She said she had been thinking it, so she decided to go ahead and tell me. Then, she said, 'Why hold on to nice thoughts?" I have always remembered that and it is so true. Let those nice thoughts be said.
I kept Kim's sketch. I really liked the tear on hers and all that beautiful greenery. But, I ended up with my favorite flower, the tulip, stamped and colored three times. Cut out two and popped up. I added a ribbon but it turned out to be the wrong color so I went with my rick rack punch and used matching dp. Most of my ribbon ,in the right color, was too wide. Unlike Kim's card, I did let a bit of the dp show on the bottom and right side of my card.
Kim, you have a super gallery of cards and I hope you have a lovely time this week being Queen.

Oh, Brenda, you have totally made my day. Thanks for remembering something nice about me. I don't know why this is, but I often tend to remember the bad things about me. You just made me smile. I guess I can be alright sometimes. lol Thank you so much for taking the time to case one of my cards. I love your tulip with the swirly leaves - the sentiment looks great with it too. Have a wonderful day!! :>)

Lovely CAS case. Great white space and the torn edge adds a very interesting feature to the card.

Brenda, thanks for sharing that wonderful sweet story about Kim. That is such great words to live by. I love your card here. That tulip reminds me of the one I saw yesterday in a customers yard. When I first got there it was closed up tight. About 10 minutes later as I was leaving it was half open. Unbelievably pretty, just like your card. TFS :0)
