There's something about a daffodil blooming in a garden. It's beautiful color of the yellow and soft curling petals turning towards the sun. The first flower of spring.
This card is 4-1/2" round. The image is from Fred She Said Spring Flower Collection. I used the Spellbinders beaded circle and distressed the edges with sage distress ink. I love to use distress ink. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch that have little pearls on their bodies. The little white flowers were from the clearance section at Michael's. I punched the branches and fronds with another Martha Stewart punch. Spellbinders fancy tag displays the sentiment.
I made another circle that slips under the middle one for writing my sentiment and a box envelope to place my card in. They can be seen at my blog at www.chocolatecraftsandbearsohmy.blogspot.com if you would like to see how to do that with a brad.
Thanks for stopping by today. I am looking forward to a craft filled weekend. I can't wait!
Punch count for the whole project
Butterflies - 6
Branches and Fronds - 18

Ahh . . . just look at that gorgeous daffodil!! One of my very favorite flowers (it's the March birthday flower!). The beaded circle Spellbinders looks terrific on this. I love how you colored the centers of the "beads." So much fun to see all of the details on this lovely creation!
