You can imagine how excited I was this morning when I started my computer and saw that Roxie and Seattle Stamper had liked my card and that it was this week's sketch. I have had this song going through my head. I used my computer to print the words onto a piece of cream parchment. I stained it with a tea bag. I then tore the edges, crinkled it, and used chalks to distress the edges. I used dp that had a vintage feel to it. I added lace, ribbons and pearls. My favorite part of this card is the Cameo. It is from a Mark's Finest Papers set called Grandma's Boudior. It will be released next week during the Mark's Finest Papers blog hop. I stamped it twice. Once with Adirondack cabin fever ink. The second time I stamped it with versamark and added gold ep. I cut the center out of the cabin fever colored one and layered it on the gold one. I wanted the gold to look antiqued, so I used a brown colored pencil to color over it.
