I have been playing with my new La La Land stamps and thought this particular one would be perfect for my niece's 8th birthday. Isn't she just adorable?!! :-)
Marci was coloured with Prismacolor + Derwent Coloursoft pencils and OMS, then I lightly coloured around the image with blue chalk. I added Kindyglitz Crystalina glitter to the rose in Marci's hair, the roses on the tu-tu and along the hem - then added some pink gemstones to the hair decoration.
The pink seam binding/ribbon was attached in 2 separate elements, and the bow itself was made with my Bow Easy.
I used my CB and one of the dies from the CB Vintage Die set to do the fancy glitter cs corners on the card front and bottom.
To hold the top part of the Easel card in place, I used my 20mm Epiphany Studio Button Tool to make some buttons with the same pink glitter cs then popped them up on mounts (dimensionals) so they would have a bit more height and hold the card front easily.
Both sentiment panels were popped up on mounts.
All the designer papers are digital downloads from Bearly Mine Designs in the UK (I have more deets on my Blog).
I am popping this card into the SCS TLC242 Try a new Technique challenge TLC242 of "Easel cards" (from a while ago) - see this link for the deets on this challenge and instructions for making an Easel card: TLC242 Easel Card {10/12/09} by Lynn in St. Louis at Splitcoaststampers If you have never made one, they are really easy - I encourage you to have a go :-)
I am also popping this card into the ABC Challenge of "P is for pink". I have deets and links on my Blog.
