This week's Tea Party is going to Farmington NM, to a young man by the name of Bobby. He loves sports and will hopefully get back to coaching and playing after he heals from being very badly burnt on over 65% of his body.
Bobby, you're in our thoughts with all these well wishes coming your way!
This card: I decided to do an easel card, never did one before, but came up with my own design.
I used DH's softball to get the design of this ball as accurate as I could. This was my 3rd attempt, with the first being in ink and the second wrong on the hole count. The little softballs are stamped and die cut with the smallest circle nestie, with one being popped up to keep the main ball standing.
The SF Giants insignias are from the internet, cut out and embossed with 2 layers of ep. The shirt on the envelope is from the same set as the softballs. Of course done in SF Giants orange and black.
The envelope is actually dp designed for my High School, luckily it's colors are the same as the SF Giants.
I'd do this again.
I was at Joann's today and saw that Mrs. Grossmans has stickers about the same size as this ball I made myself. Mine is better, as it's hand sewn and
handmade.
There's no noodle
there's no doodle
Just oodles of good wishes going out to Bobby and his family!
Batter Up!!

Wow what a great card. The round easel was a great idea for a ball! All that stitching is perfect. You always do such a great job. I have been watching the gallery all night waiting for a sneak of this weeks challenge.

You have hit the ball out of the park with this one. I can't believe you actually counted the holes, now that is attention to detail. Bobby is going to love this. tfs
