This is probably one of the hardest cards I've had to make. A friend found out months ago that the baby she was expecting had a fatal chromosomal abnormality. They prayed for him to live to term so they could at least have some time with him alive and God granted them their wish. He was born yesterday on his due date and they had a precious 5 minutes with their beautiful son Ben. I wanted to recognize and celebrate his birth while sympathizing with their loss and this is the card I designed for them. I used an old SU scrapbooking strip along the side in baby-boy blue. Praying for Scott and Kelli and their family!

WOW ! Not sure what to say ! Your card is Beautiful ! and I am SURE that it will mean the World to them ! I will put them (Scott and Kelli) in my prayers . I have been there and it is so hard ! it is great that you acknowledged that "Ben" was here ...and will continue to be... in all of the hearts who do and would have Loved Him . I can't think of any card harder to make than a sympathy card for the loss of a child. I made one myself in October and sobbed the entire time I put it together.
My prayers go out to your friends.
